These guys were the only place open at 7am which i could call and get my car towed to after an incident driving to work monday morning. Frank was more than happy to take my car with basically no notice and got me all sorted super quick. They took great care of my car and me, called with updates and everyone i talked to made me smile and laugh even after a horrible Monday morning. Couldn’t recommend a better place to take your car 100/10

My experience with Automotive Instincs was one of a kind. We started a bit rocly with them loosing some of my personal detalis to get in touch with me while I was away and left my van there, but the moment we fixed that I could see how much effort they put and how hard they work for their customers. My situation had to deal with a previous fix from another repco service in Tasmània where they did a sketchy fix to my car because they couldn't find the right part to be replaced. But Automotive instincs they removed earth and sky to find the correct peace for my model and really kept in touch with me allomg the way even helping me to get my guarantee back after the other mechanic had overcharged me for the horrible work they did. All an all and after all the waiting for the peace to be found they fixed the problem right away and help me with tips to keep my van in good shape. I would 100% recomend. Frank as the lead mechanic is great and takes his job very seriously.

Have been using Automotive Instincts since I moved to Melbourne for a range of work, from roadworthy checks, full services, and major parts like a radiator bar replacement as well as simple jobs like spark plugs and coil replacement and have never once been disappointed. Would absolutely recommend - competitive prices and the work is top notch, also means supporting a family run business - go see Frank and Louise at Automotive and they’ll look after you.

On my last car service (at a different mechanic) they made an effort of showing me the cabin air filter from my car. It was black and they said it had not been changed in a very very long time, which is quite disappointing as I was charged for this on my last service with Automotive Instincts. My car had broken down in the middle of a busy intersection & I had to organise a tow to a mechanic. My usual mechanic was away so I rang around & Frank at Automotive Instincts was so accomodating fitting me in straight away. The problem was identified quickly & the part ordered that day. I picked up the car the next business day & the car was returned to me in pristine condition. Frank & Louise were fantastic through the whole process & took all the stress out of the situation. I’ll be returning for my car services in the future.

I had a RWC done here and they were so reasonable - it cost me $220 for the RWC itself. They were thorough and clear about what needed to be fixed for the roadworthy and the price was very reasonable and affordable for me. I'd had a bad experience with another mechanic previously who had tried to quote me 7.5 times the price Automotive Instincts did for the same sort of job. These guys are honest and genuine, and Louise was great to deal with - very understanding and professional. If I was staying in Melbourne I'd come back for sure! Thanks again for all your help.
